Abby Endashaw
There’s a unique kind of exhaustion that comes from always holding it together—especially when your inner world feels like it’s falling apart. I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves a space where they don’t have to perform or protect others. A space to be seen. A space to heal.
My name is Abby Endashaw, and I work with people navigating big emotions, deep questions, and complex relationships—with others and with themselves. Whether you’re wrestling with anxiety, moving through trauma, exploring your identity, or parenting through unfamiliar territory, therapy can be a place to reconnect to your strength and your story.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are not broken—you are becoming. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), narrative therapy, play therapy, and trauma-informed practices that make space for every part of you: the anxious part, the angry part, the shut-down part, and the resilient part that keeps showing up.
Our work together might include telling your story, learning new tools to regulate big feelings, challenging old beliefs, and healing from painful experiences—including those that came from church or other spiritual spaces. I create a space that’s affirming, curious, and centered on what wholeness looks like for you.
Clients often tell me they leave therapy feeling lighter, more grounded, and more able to offer themselves compassion. You may not have all the answers—but you’ll know how to listen to yourself with more clarity and courage.
As a Black, neurodivergent, first-gen daughter of immigrants, I understand that our identities are layered and they shape how we move through the world, how we’re treated, and how we heal. I bring an intersectional lens to therapy that honors the complexity of your lived experience. That means we’ll name the systems that impact you, challenge internalized messages rooted in white supremacy and patriarchy, and create space for healing and reclaiming all of you are and who you are becoming. Whether you're navigating family dynamics, faith shifts, mental health, or identity questions, I work to create a space where all of you is seen, respected, and affirmed.

My private pay rate starts at $125 for individual therapy (sliding scale options available). I am In Network with Aetna, Optum, United Health Care, UMR. Don't see your insurance? Contact us TODAY to verify if I am In Network.
When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll probably find me dancing salsa or bachata, watching Love Island, or taking care of my cat, Penny. Therapy grounds me in a deep sense of purpose—I love supporting people one-on-one—but my commitment to healing doesn’t stop there. I’m also passionate about creating a more just and compassionate world for all of us. From time to time, I write about how my faith shapes that vision, especially through practices like radical hospitality, mutual aid, and collective action here in Dallas.
