If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or exhausted from trying to hold it all together—for your family, your career, or just yourself—you are not alone. Whether you're navigating anxiety, trauma, parenting stress, or relationship struggles, I believe healing begins when we feel safe, understood, and empowered to take the next step forward.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I bring a unique blend of clinical expertise and real-world perspective to therapy. My professional background includes roles as a school teacher, school counselor, Christian academy director, and child welfare investigator for Family and Protective Services. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of the complex dynamics impacting children, families, and adults—and the systems that shape their lives.
At Journey To Grace Counseling, my approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and culturally responsive care. I specialize in supporting children (ages 3+), teens, adults, and families navigating:
I am also trained in EMDR, Flash Technique, and I am a Certified Child-Centered Play Therapist, which allows me to tailor therapy to meet your specific needs—whether you're working through recent challenges or long-standing wounds at any age.
If you’re looking for faith-based counseling, I offer Christian/Biblical integration for those who desire to include their spirituality in the healing process.
Sessions are available in person at our Lewisville office or virtually across Texas. I prioritize safety, flexibility, and compassion every step of the way.
You’ve already made it this far in your journey—and that matters. If you're ready for a safe place to land, reflect, and grow, I'd be honored to walk alongside you as you continue forward on your Journey To Grace.
My private pay rate starts at $160 for individual therapy. I accept Spring Health EAP, Curative, Gravie, United Health/ Optum and Aetna insurances.
Let's Get Personal: Because therapy is a relationship, here's more about me!
Hey ya'll,
I'm all about living life to the fullest! My faith, family, and friends are everything to me and I'm proud to be a wife and mom to two amazing kids. I'm described as a fun-loving, silly, patient, open-minded, inclusive, and caring person who loves to laugh.
I knew I wanted to be a "helper" early on in life, even as a little kid. I didn't always understand the hard situations I found myself dealing with growing up, especially those surrounding the mental health of others. I observed as a child what it looked like when mental health was taken care of and when it was not. I knew I wanted to be a safe person for others to develop the tools to cope with life's twists and turns, as well as, heal and eventually thrive. I am honored to safely guide others along their journey of healing from their past, guiding them through their present, and helping them to develop the future where they can experience greater joy.
When I'm not busy being a therapist, you'll find me nose-deep in children's books (I'll never outgrow my love for them!), exploring new places on random weekend trips, and trying out the latest foodie hotspots. I'm also a total creative at heart, with a love for painting, drawing, crafting, singing (sometimes off key) and playing the piano.
